Tale Snug And Other Exciting Programmes In Our Library


Welcome to the cosy story snug of our library.

Dear Children,
You are kindly invited to come to know the magical atmosphere of the world of tales on each Wednesday in May, 4.30 - 5.30 pm.

The events organized by the ardent librarians cover all kinds of programmes that you are interested in, including stories, verses and music as well as handicrafting to improve your creativity.

A Teddy bear show is made in this "little castle of culture".

You are kindly invited to visit the unique exhibition of bears organized in May, 2013.

You can see cute bears of different size and colour. Children can touch them and parents can take photos of the plush animals.
It is demontsrated in a unique way how good children’s toys, including puppets and Teddy bears, are conducive to harmonious childhood.
The exhibition is set up by the toy-making artists Etelka Csekő and Eta Tóthné Fábián, who are specialists in the field of preparing dolls.

The Library of Török utca of the Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library calls the attention of the readers (and their relatives) living in the 2nd district, that the holdings of the library holdings are made available by providing the book-delivery service for
families that have children under the age of 1
as well as all those who are phisically handicapped and/or old.


Books, periodicals, talking books and other AV documents are delivered on demands with the lorry of the local government from the library to your home.
The playing appliances to use the documents are also taken to you.


How to surf the net with assistance
You are encouraged to ask the librarian's assistance to gain knowledge in computer use.
Individual guidance and assistance are provided to introduce you into the world of internet. Nowadays, it is essential to be well-informed of how to use the potential of the net.

Welcome to the individual lessons on Thursdays, 2.00 pm - 3.00 pm


The library received a documentary package of 22 films from the editorial staff of a Hungarian daily. They are given to broaden reader's knowledge in various topics including the Aztec empire and other ancient civilizations, the Vikings and the samurai, Machu Picchu and Kama Sutra, among others.
They can be borrowed for free for two days.
