Time Stands Still - An exciting talk-show with Péter Gothár

Revolution, humanity, past and present

Our readers were kindly invited to take part in a unique conversation that was held in the Library of Kőbánya.

The guest was Péter Gothár whose life-work is well-known all over the world.
He was born on August 28, 1947 in Pécs, Hungary. He is a director and writer, known for Time Stands Still and other appreciated productions including several theatrical pieces (plays).

Before the talk-show the readers watched the famous - iconic - film Time Stands Still.

Besides its historic significance, the film deals with serious pedagogical questions and raises the issues of upbringing; it shows adulthood (from a boy's point of view) full of promiscuousness.

The program was supported by the Memorial Commission established for the 60th anniversary of the revolution and fight for freedom of 1956.
