Welcome to the Central Library!
The Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library celebrated the 100th anniversary of its opening in 2004.
The Central Library moved to its present building – the Wenckheim-Palace – in 1931.
The 13,000 square metre complex includes a browsing area, 15 reading rooms, an open access area, the Internet room, the children’s library, a café, about 1,000 seats for reading and 160 computers.
Exhibitions and other programmes are also offered.
We inform our readers, that own pendrives
can be used in the Internet Room located on the
second floor.
