How to find the necessary information?
Readers have day-to-day demands for acquiring knowledge of computer use. Our computerized world requires us to find information by ourselves. Ability like that includes using online catalogue and databases; exploiting the advantages of Internet is also necessary.
The purpose of the course on information search and library use is to help readers to be able to find the places and services they need in the library; gather information by themselves from books, journals, CD-ROMs, databases and on the Internet. Using the online catalogue system is also very important.
Our Internet-course gives you comprehensive knowledge of how to make use of the Internet. The curriculum includes a standard basic part and a specific part, which supplements the basic material. So we can supplely accommodate to the level of knowledge of the participants. The „compulsory” material may be enlarged on the occasion of arising questions.
The courses are organized with the support of the National Cultural Basic Programme.
