Documents left behind...10 years ago, a collection of documents left behind in the books borrowed and checked in by readers was displayed in Ferenc Deák Library.
Librarians think that such documents are treasures in a way and they are worth our attention, a collection of such documents is well worth
a visit to see.
That is why a great bunch of treasure troves left in the books is collected and displayed again, after a decade, on the occasion of reopening,
welcoming our readers.
Visitors can see extraordinary, old picture postcards and photos as well as library documents of a few decades in the show-case;
some maps, unique picture postcards and newspaper articles “hidden” in books are also displayed.
It is really astonishing, what troves can be found - documents that are left in the books accidentally (or deliberately?!)
The special exhibition moved to the loft (of the two-level room); it can be visited in opening hours of the library.
