Trial access to some databases of Oxford University Press

One of the largest university publishers, Oxford University Press made some of its databases available to our library provisionally. 

In the mission statement of OUP you can read the following:

As the largest university publishers of the world, Oxford University Press publishes in 190 countries, in nearly 70 languages, and in a variety of formats – print and digital.

Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library got trial access to the following three databases till 31 October 2021: 

Oxford Scholarship Online (OSO) is a vast and rapidly-expanding library, providing easy access to thousands of books on some subject areas concerning some sciences.

Including full-text reference books of some fields of science, Oxford Handbooks Online is an outstanding collection within 
the range of the best Handbooks series across many different subject areas.

The database of Oxford World’s Classics contains full-text e-books of world literature from the 18th century up to present days.

Besides the 3 databases mentioned above, Oxford Journals Collection can be used until 30 June 2021. 
This full-text multidisciplinary journal collection offers access to more than 300 high quality scientific journals 
with high impact factor, back to 1996.

The contents of the databases are available with valid membership card (authorizing to borrow) in all libraries and 
by remote access as well.
